In December 2021, Phoenix Art Yard presented Phoenix Rising: A Celebration of Survival + Rebirth, a group exhibition exploring themes of resilience, transformation, and renewal. Inspired by the collective experience of navigating uncertainty, loss, and reinvention, the exhibition brought together artists reflecting on what it means to endure and begin again. For the exhibition, I created a series of mixed-media paintings and collages examining the role of creativity, storytelling, and community in the process of personal and collective rebirth. The artwork below was exhibited as part of Phoenix Rising.
